Kaylin Jones has established herself as an accomplished writer, possessing a myriad of exceptional skills and talents that has resulted in a number of esteemed honors. During her time at the University of Missouri, she achieved the coveted title of a national award-winning playwright - several of the honors coming from the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington DC.

Through her outstanding work ethic, passion for writing, creative mind, energetic spirit, and commitment to excellence, she frequently took the role of dramaturg for a number of shows during her time in the University of Missouri’s theatre department. As a dramaturg, she was tasked with the full responsibility of relaying extensive, show related research to the production team, cast, and audience members - closely working with highly respected directors and designers in the process. This included facilitating Q&A sessions, doing interviews for research and promotional purposes, and doing research based lectures.

Research and writing are two things she is incredibly passionate about, particularly in a way that mesmerizes her audiences through her creative storytelling. A talented writer, the excellence of her craft is demonstrated through the many awards she has won over the course of her life.
